| Head Description | Candle holder Loan-Cake combines the unique natural rare-properties material – selenite – with its manual processing. Selenite is used for making decorative objects and jewelry. It is a white-yellow mineral, a type of translucent gypsum. Its name is derived from the Greek “selene”, meaning “moon”. Selenite resembles the satellite with its shade and characteristic needle-like fibers, which create shimmers of color – an attractive optical “lunar” effect. If a beam of light is shone through a piece of selenite, the mineral will seem to glow from within. The Loan-Cake collection includes 3 candle holders of different sizes made of raw selenite. They catch the eye with the untouched beauty of the mineral – unpolished stone looks natural yet unusual. No candle holder will repeat the pattern of another, making it a unique piece of interior decor. Selenite has a number of features: it is warm, and even in winter, if put it in the snow and then touched, it will warm you up and be pleasant to touch.
