| Head Description | The handmade Bouddi carpet is based on one of the most valuable types of wool – the silky and warm fleece of Nahurs or Ladakh rams that live in the mountainous regions of India. Carpets made of long, smooth and warm wool are especially soft and fluffy, tactile pleasant. "Bouddi" attracts attention with its expressive texture with a visible interweaving of threads in the shade of black volcanic sand. This textured, relief model resembles strips of black sand on the coast of Iceland, driven by harsh northerly winds. The softness of the wool pile makes it possible to feel the soft sandy surface under your feet. Each carpet is unique, all products are made by craftsmen on hand looms in the old handloom technique. These are exclusive, piece-by-piece copies that carry a piece of the soul of the person who put their work and time into them. |
