| Head Description | An original dish Monteiro is made of frosted crystal glass of a complex grey-brown shade. This material is an alternative to rock crystal with the sole difference that it does not contain the toxic lead oxide; other additives, such as silicon, are used instead. Monteiro can be used as a fruit and sweets dish as well as for salads. An original geometric pattern on the glass is made using the sandblasting. It is a method of glass treatment with sand after which it becomes frosted and embossed. A stylish grey-brown shade and beautiful geometric pattern on the surface make it a center-piece of modern kitchen and dining room interiors. |
