The item is resistant to moisture and does not deform, as it is made in a special way: the wood is softened in hot water, then pressured and dried. Inside, the tray is decorated with gold-plated metallized foil. The originality of the finish of Stellato is in the heterogeneity of the tray surface decorated with foil. The coating resembles large brush strokes of an artist who paints a picture with golden paint. Visible relief strokes form an interesting texture of the item. This pattern is applied by hand using soft brushes that spread the fine foil over the surface of the tray. Stellato combines the luster of varnished wood, golden shimmers and the nobility of the velvet finish on its back.
